This is the official website for the McCleery Buffalo Wolf Foundation - the organization that maintains the descendants of Dr. E. H. McCleery's original wolves.
Nancy A. Avolese, author of The Wolf Man of Kane, Pennsylvania: An Historical Novel about Doctor Edward H. McCleery and His Lobo Wolves, created this website. It contains photos of Dr. McCleery and profiles of his individual wolves. Additionally, Nancy is a fellow Dr. McCleery researcher, and has helped me very much throughout my research.
The Bradford Landmark Society has compiled a collection of full text articles relating to Dr. E. H. McCleery's work with lobo wolves. The articles range in date from 1922 to 1970 and originate from the McKean County Democrat, the McKean County Miner, and the Bradford Era.
