Description
This article reports that since the recent American Magazine article about Dr. McCleery and his wolves, Dr. McCleery has received lots of fan mail, mostly from people interested in purchasing wolf pups. Feb. 19, 1921[sic]
Dear Wolf Man:
I have just finished reading about you and your wolf's. I think it is wonderful and I love all kinds of animals. I have four dogs, a collie, a Persian poodle; also a cat, chickens and a pair of love birds, but when I read about wolfs I just love them and how I should love to have one. Are they very expensive or hard to raise, I should love to see your pens, but a trip up there would cost more than I could afford. I suppose this letter sounds silly, but I could not help telling you how I love wolfs and only wish I had the chance you have. Some time when I get the chance I am coming up to see them.
