Two Wolves at the Lobo Wolf Park in Kane [Postcard]

Description

This photograph depicts two wolves - a lighter colored wolf in the foreground and a darker colored wolf in the distance - at Dr. McCleery's lobo wolf park, located within the town limits of Kane, PA. A water bucket is visible hanging on the fence. A light-colored house with a dark-colored roof is visible in the background - judging by an old aerial photograph, it could be a small house along Park Avenue at the edge of the wolf pens, but it does not look like Dr. McCleery's or the Jones' house. This is a Defender postcard.

This photograph was taken between 1921 (when Dr. McCleery obtained his first wolf) and 1929 (when Dr. McCleery moved the wolf park to the Route 6 location).
