When I was in about second grade I would go out to visit the wolves. Ruby and Pup Smith lived in the big house on Rt.6 where the wolves were located. Pup worked for Jack Lynch and Ruby was a friend of my mothers. Pup would take me with him to feed the wolves. i remember throwing road killed deer over the fence to them. Also remember Jack having a cougar that he would let my mother pet when it was little. that was I think about 1964. We moved away but whenever we would visit Kane we would go out and visit them. Then we moved back in 1970 and a few years later they were gone. I tried to find out about them over the years and wondered what happened to them. Also remember Kim the white wolf that was the mascot of the football team.
